Durable vs 10Web: AI Website Builder Credits

Durable and 10Web both meter their AI in monthly credits, and both print the credit counts beside the price. Durable's cheapest paid plan includes ten times the credits of 10Web's for roughly twice the money. Neither pricing page states what a single credit buys, so the ratio cannot be turned into a budget. Both pages read October 15, 2026.

Durable vs 10Web: AI Website Builder Credits

Durable and 10Web sell the same promise, an AI that builds and maintains a small business website, and both meter it in monthly credits. Durable's entry paid plan lists 1,000 credits a month from $22. 10Web's lists 100 from $10. That looks like a tenfold advantage at roughly twice the price, and it is not usable as one, because neither page states what a credit buys. Both official pricing pages read October 15, 2026.

Durable prints the credit counts and the actions they feed

Durable's free plan lists "300 credits to try Durable's AI," described on the comparison table as "300 total" rather than monthly. The free CRM is capped at 10 customers and the site runs on a "Free subdomain (*.durable.site)."

Launch lists "$25/m" monthly with "1000 AI credits/mo," a free domain worth "up to $20," unlimited bookings and "Priority human support." The annual column header for the same plan reads "$22/m."

Grow lists "$49/m" monthly, "$41/m" annually and "5000 AI credits/mo," plus unlimited team members, a "$40 domain credit" and automatic translation of the site and its SEO metadata.

The page names ten credit consuming actions: website edit with AI, blog post, social post, studio image, lead reply, Google review reply, business recap, AI chat reply, deep research and keyword research.

What it never says is how many credits any of those costs. A blog post and a one line AI chat reply sit in the same list with no weighting, which is the exact gap described in how to read an AI credit pricing page.

10Web meters credits far more tightly and sells sites instead

10Web's structure is different. Its plans are priced per number of websites, with AI credits as a secondary meter that grows slowly: 100 a month on AI Starter, 200 on AI Premium, 300 on AI Ultimate.

AI Starter lists "$20" struck through against "$10 /mo" and "Get 12 months for $120 (regular price $240)," with 1 website, 10GB storage and 10K monthly visitors.

AI Ultimate lists "$45" against "$22.5 /mo" and "$270 (regular price $540)," with 4 websites, 300 credits, 25GB storage, 50K visitors, Google Cloud hosting and a Cloudflare CDN on one site.

Agency tiers keep that shape: "$42.5 /mo" for 10 websites and 400 credits, "$80 /mo" for 20 websites, 600 credits and a 7 percent billing transaction fee.

  • Durable Free: $0, website preview, 300 AI credits in total rather than monthly, CRM capped at 10 customers, free Durable subdomain, basic help centre support.
  • Durable Launch: $25 a month or $22 annually, 1,000 AI credits a month, free domain up to $20, unlimited bookings, advanced SEO and GEO, priority human support.
  • Durable Grow: $49 a month or $41 annually, 5,000 AI credits a month, unlimited team members, $40 domain credit, site and metadata translation, onboarding call.
  • 10Web AI Starter: $20 a month or $10 annually at $120 a year, 1 website, 100 AI credits a month, 10GB storage, 10K visitors, extra sites $10 each.
  • 10Web AI Premium: $30 a month or $15 annually at $180 a year, 2 websites, 200 credits, 15GB storage, 20K visitors, extra sites $7.50 each.
  • 10Web AI Ultimate: $45 a month or $22.50 annually at $270 a year, 4 websites, 300 credits, 25GB storage, 50K visitors, Google Cloud hosting.

Neither vendor publishes a credit to task rate

We looked on both pricing pages and found none. Durable lists the actions without rates; 10Web prints only the monthly totals.

We then tried 10Web's help centre, where the figure would reasonably sit. The article was behind a bot verification page on October 15, 2026, so we could not read it and will not guess at it.

This is the difference between a credit count and a budget. Browse AI closes it in one sentence, as set out in what one page scrape really costs.

Short form video vendors manage it too. Both tools in OpusClip versus Vizard bill one credit per minute of uploaded video. Even the inconsistent rate in Beautiful.ai versus Decktopus is more useful than none.

Until Durable or 10Web prints a rate, the only honest reading is that 1,000 Durable credits and 100 10Web credits are quantities in two different currencies. The ten to one ratio means nothing on its own.

Both annual badges are off, in opposite directions

Durable's toggle carries "Save 15%." The Launch plan goes from "$25/m" to "$22/m," which is 12 percent by editorial calculation, so the badge overstates the saving on the plan most buyers will pick.

On Grow the badge understates it. The price goes from "$49/m" to "$41/m," which is about 16.3 percent. One badge, two different real discounts.

10Web's badge is the accurate one. It claims "50% off" annually and the arithmetic matches exactly: $20 to $10, $30 to $15, $45 to $22.50, with "$120 (regular price $240)" spelled out in full.

10Web also quotes a per site price on each card, from "$10 per website" down to "As low as $2.5 per website." That second unit, unlike credits, is defined.

The caps that will actually stop you

On 10Web the binding limits are traffic and site count, not credits. AI Starter allows 1 website and 10K monthly visitors, and each extra website costs $10 a month with 10K visits and 5GB of storage attached.

Durable goes the other way. Every plan, including free, is listed with "Unlimited website traffic" and the comparison table marks AI generated pages as "Unlimited," so the credit balance is the only real ceiling.

That makes the missing rate more consequential on Durable than on 10Web. If credits are the only cap, a buyer needs to know what they buy before committing to a year.

Durable's free tier is unusual in shape. Its 300 credits are a one off allowance, not a monthly refill, so it expires by use rather than by date, unlike the monthly free tiers in Grammarly and Otter and Fathom.

10Web's hedge is a refund window rather than a free tier: the page states a "30-day money back guarantee" and "Cancel anytime," with a note that the guarantee "applies until you claim your free domain."

Which one fits which buyer

  • Choose Durable Launch if you want one site with unlimited traffic and heavy AI use, and you accept that 1,000 credits is an undefined quantity.
  • Choose Durable Grow if you need unlimited team members or automatic translation of the site and its SEO metadata, since both sit behind that tier.
  • Choose 10Web AI Starter if $10 a month annually is the budget and 100 credits is enough, because you also get full WordPress rather than a closed builder.
  • Choose 10Web AI Ultimate or an agency tier if you manage several sites, since the per site price falls from $10 to $5.60 and then to about $4.
  • Skip both for a content heavy site until one of them publishes a credit rate, because a blog post and a chat reply currently cost the same unknown amount.

One structural difference is worth more than the credit arithmetic. 10Web runs on "Full WordPress CMS," so the content is portable, while Durable is a closed builder whose own FAQ says it does not offer "extensive options for HTML customization."

Durable does name AI search features 10Web's page does not: "llms.txt for AI assistants," JSON-LD structured data, directory listings and competitor analysis.

Frequently asked questions

How many AI credits does each cheapest paid plan include?

Durable Launch lists 1,000 a month at $22 annually. 10Web AI Starter lists 100 a month at $10 annually. Both figures are from the pricing pages read October 15, 2026.

What does one credit actually buy?

Neither pricing page says. Durable lists ten credit consuming actions without rates, and 10Web prints only monthly totals. The 10Web help centre article was behind a bot check on October 15, 2026.

Does Durable have a free plan?

Yes, but the allowance is one off. The page lists 300 credits to try the AI, shown as "300 total" in the comparison table, with the CRM capped at 10 customers and a Durable subdomain.

Is 10Web really 50 percent off annually?

The arithmetic matches on every tier we checked: $20 to $10, $30 to $15 and $45 to $22.50, with "$120 (regular price $240)" printed in full on the Starter card.

How much does Durable's annual plan really save?

Less than the badge claims on Launch. The toggle says 15 percent, but $25 to $22 is 12 percent by editorial calculation. On Grow, $49 to $41 is about 16.3 percent.

Which one limits traffic?

10Web. Its plans list 10K, 20K and 50K monthly visitors by tier. Durable lists unlimited website traffic on every plan including free, so credits are its only stated ceiling.

Bottom line

10Web is the more honest pricing page: its discount badge is exact, its per site unit is defined and its traffic caps are printed by tier. Its AI allowance is small and it does not pretend otherwise.

Durable offers far more credits and unlimited traffic, and is the better bet if the AI is the point. Both still owe buyers one sentence saying what a credit does. All figures as of October 15, 2026.
